Dr. Joshua Hren
Joshua Hren, Ph.D. is Co-Founder and Assistant Director of the Honors College at Belmont Abbey. He is also founder and editor-in-chief of Wiseblood Books. His first academic book is Middle-earth and the Return of the Common Good: J.R.R. Tolkien and Political Philosophy. His first collection of short stories, This Our Exile (Angelico Press) received an Honorable Mention in the 2018 Christianity and Literature Book of the Year Award. His second collection of short stories, In the Wine Press, is forthcoming (Angelico Press) in 2020.
